Michelle Solomon wins OPDI “Peer of the Year Award”

On Thursday September 24, joined together with Bereketab Tekle (Director) and Barbara Frampton (Co-Chair), Michelle Solomon, Executive Director and Founder of CONNECT for Mental Health accepted the “Peer of the Year” award. Michelle was nominated by volunteers, partners, stake holders, and by her coworkers in London to receive this award. The Peer of the Year award is given to:
  • Peer support provider
  • Uses champions recovery principles
  • Volunteerism
  • Motivates others
  • Appropriate story sharing
  • May have received other awards
