CONNECT is a volunteer run organization with NO paid staff.
We have a volunteer Board of Directors and over 50 volunteers who provide a variety of peer support services in London, Ontario.
Volunteers receive training consisting of an orientation to the organization, it's policies and programs, including privacy and confidentiality.
Depending on the position you are applying for, you may also receive training in peer support from CONNECT for Mental Health’s training program and/or the Ontario Peer Development Initiative’s training program. Volunteers serve many roles including helping with fundraising, crafting, individual peer support, board positions, facilitating groups and coordinating projects and programs, as well as student opportunities.

There are many ways you can get involved with CONNECT.
We have many ways you can volunteer. From one time events to multiple programs. From 2 hours a year to 2 or more hours a week. YOU CHOOSE!!! We appreciate your time and will help you to find a volunteer opportunity that suits your commitment of time to mental health.
